Affiliate Disclosure
Transparency is fundamental to honest studio advice. Here is exactly how Blue Shelf earns revenue.
Blue Shelf does not stock products, process transactions, or receive direct financial sponsorships from art supply manufacturers. Instead, some of the links on this website are affiliate links pointing to outside retailers such as Jackson's Art, Blick Art Materials, and Bookshop.org.
If you click through one of these affiliate links and choose to make a purchase, Blue Shelf may earn a small referral commission at no additional cost to you. This commission does not alter our editorial opinions, product rankings, or critical assessments in any way. We recommend materials because they perform reliably on our studio worktables—never because a merchant pays us to promote them.
If you prefer not to use our links, you can search for any recommended material directly through your independent local art shop or preferred supplier. We encourage supporting independent brick-and-mortar art shops wherever possible.
